Digital Wellbeing
A Simple Digital Wellness Reset
You do not need a full digital detox to feel better. A one-week reset can clear noise and help you choose what stays on your phone.

Digital wellness is not about quitting technology. It is about making technology serve your values instead of eroding them by default.
This reset takes about a week. Adjust the pace if you need more time—there is no prize for finishing fast.
Day 1–2: Notice without judging
Keep using your phone as usual, but note when use feels automatic versus intentional. A notes app or paper list is enough.
Day 3–4: Clean the surface
- Delete apps you have not opened in 30 days
- Turn off non-essential notifications
- Reorganize your home screen so tools you need are visible and feeds are harder to reach
Our digital wellness checklist expands these steps if you want a printable-style list.
Day 5–6: Add one positive habit
Choose one addition: a morning walk without headphones, a 10-minute reading block, or a daily focus session. Small and repeatable beats ambitious and abandoned.
Day 7: Decide what stays
Review what changed. Keep the rules that reduced stress. Drop the ones that felt punitive. Share questions with us on the Contact page if you are unsure where to start in the app.
